Classroom Management...

This is one of my FAVORITE classroom management tools!! It can be soooo time consuming to answer the questions...Can we use markers?, Do we turn this in?, Is this a talking activity? I love using these assignment choice signs to answer those questions without me doing the work.  Once I give directions for an activity, I quickly place checks and X's by the cards and my students know exactly where to look for the answer.

If you'd like a set of these cards, just click below for your own copy.
Here is the link for the blue dot cards shown above.  I also created a Pink Set and Zebra Set for some of my first grade teammates.  I hope that you get as much use out of them as I do!!

  3. What an awesome idea! I think it would be cute to have matching border yes and no cards that had a magnetic strip on the back of each one. Then you could easily move the yes or no card next to the adorable signs.

  9. Fun! Have you heard of CHAMPS? It's a management system that uses the same idea. C is for Conversation (you indicate what they can have- whisper, none, etc.), Help- how do the get help, A- Activity (math, independent work, etc.), M- movement, P- Participation. I use magnets and change it as needed. I like the idea of materials used as well. I might add your cards about that. Thanks!

  10. Yay!! I'm so happy with the positive response that these have gotten! I'm glad that I was able to share!

@ Jennifer - LOL!!! That's ok, you're welcome here anytime! I'm not so much a fan of the glitter process as I am the sparkly result!HaHa!

@ Denise - Thank you so much for your FB share. I'm honored!!!

@ Carmen - Yes, I actually have had Champs training a few years ago. That's where the basic concept came from. Over the years I have just adjusted it to fit my classroom needs.

Thanks everyone! Ya'll have just made my day. Tons of giggles!!
